Muro 128 Eye Ointment reduces swelling of the eye's surface in certain eye conditions and works by drawing fluid out of the cornea to reduce swelling. Decreasing swelling of the cornea may lessen eye discomfort or irritation caused by the swelling.

Use Muro 128 eye ointment as prescribed by your doctor. To apply the ointment:

• Wash your hands before using eye medication.
• Tilt your head slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. 
• Squeeze a ribbon of ointment from the tube into this pocket. 
• Blink your eye gently, then keep it closed for 1 or 2 minutes. Wipe excess ointment from your eyelashes using a clean tissue.
• Do not touch the tip of the ointment tube or eye dropper; do not place the tip directly on your eye. A contaminated tip can infect your eye, leading to serious vision problems.

• Use Muro 128 eye ointment as prescribed by your doctor. Your eye doctor will check your eyes at regular visits to ensure it is working properly and not causing unwanted effects.
• If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
• While applying the medicine, your eyes will sting or burn for a short time. It is to be expected.
• If you experience eye pain, vision changes, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if your symptoms continue for more than three days or become worse, check with your doctor.
• Talk with your doctor immediately if you hurt your eye, develop an eye infection, or need eye surgery. 

Muro 128 Eye Ointment may cause serious side effects. Stop using Muro 128 Eye Ointment and call your doctor at once if you have the following:

• Eye pain;
• Severe or ongoing eye redness or irritation;
• Vision changes; or
• Worsening of your eye condition.
